Located along the east banks of the Mississippi River, Nauvoo State Park was built in the 1840s and features a wine cellar, press room and artifacts from Native Americans. The park is also the location of Nauvoo’s first vineyard that has been producing grapes since the mid-1800s. Camping, hiking, picniking, ice-skating and sledding are some of the activities offered.
